This side event will highlight the ongoing and expected contributions of five forest biomes that are part of the GEF-8 Critical Forest Biomes programs (Mesoamerica, Amazon, Indo Malay, Guinean Forest, Congo) towards achieving the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KM-GBF) target 3 with an inclusion angle. The programs implement an integrated conservation strategy that includes a multi-level, cross-sectoral approach.
