Indigenous peoples, land rights, and the GEF

A decade ago, the GEF first convened the Indigenous Peoples Advisory Group (IPAG) based on consultations with Indigenous Peoples. The IPAG has served a key advisory role on topics from safeguards to CSO engagement to the creation of the GEF Inclusive Conservation Initiative. The IPAG has been replicated by similar organizations. This session will provide an opportunity to reflect on experiences and look to the future.
