GEF-UNDP project case studies on implementation of the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit-sharing

Access and Benefit-sharing is Goal C of the post-2020 global biodiversity framework that must be achieved by 2050. This goal states that the monetary and non-monetary benefits from the utilization of genetic resources are shared fairly and equitably and contribute to the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity. This side event provides examples of GEF-funded projects implemented with the support of UNDP that are contributing to the achievement of this goal.
