The side event will present regional syntheses for Central and Eastern Europe and the Caribbean and Pacific SIDS, highlighting progress, challenges, gaps, and lessons from national reporting to inform the first global review of collective progress on the KMGBF. It will also explore how regional analysis can complement national reporting and identify opportunities for strengthened regional cooperation and support on monitoring, data, capacity development, financing, and implementation.
