Convened by the SDSN and the GEF, this event showcases the power of South-South science collaboration for the conservation and sustainable development of tropical forests. Co-Chairs and scientists from the Science Panels for the Amazon, Congo Basin, and Borneo will discuss challenges, opportunities, and innovations in science-based policymaking. The event emphasizes integrating scientific research with Indigenous and Local Knowledge, and updates on their flagship Assessment Reports for COP30.
